When I was lost and wandering on my own
He rescued me.
Without a friend, searching for a home,
He rescued me.
People may doubt, tell me that I’m crazy
Believing in things I can’t see.
All that I know is when this poor man called
He rescued me.
When I’m afraid and trouble surrounds,

When I’m confused, no answers to be found,

I don’t understand why the King of all creation
Chooses to pour His love on me.

When I was blind, dead in my sins, He died for me.
He gave up his life so that my life could begin.

But I know He’s alive by a mighty resurrection.
This same Jesus lives in me.
